But there were questions in regards to the 3-bar setup, and you chose not to answer them. I've never asked you for anything to just be handed over.

EVEN has left me stranded where my truck has died and not wanted to restart.Īnd please pull up a post about me ASKING you to hand over code or anything. This of course led to throwing more codes than I care to know. I was informed of the 3-bar setup as rescaling the necessary tables that interfaced with the MAP sensor up to the 3 bar equivalent in kPa, around 305, from what I can tell. Strange to have someone trying to do it right in front of us I always thought it'd be KB or someone that'd pull that stunt.Īgain, I'm not copying anyone's code. You may retrieve some interesting findings, mainly that people had their ideas & information stolen way too often, so the bright ones went to private lists, or underground/off list. While you are searching for more information to use on DIY_EFI, you might do some research into the whole DIY WB 02, and look up Garfield, and the other projects that were scrapped. Todd and I are the bad guys in this matter. It's not enough I share 90% of my data, findings, thoughts on this board and in email, on my webpages, BUT we should give it ALL to you, on a silver platter, I suppose. I guess we should all just share ALL of our information we work so hard to obtain. You wanted us to GIVE you all the information before, and it wasn't GIVEN to you, because we thought you'd do EXACTLY WHAT YOU ARE DOING ANYWAYS. You are using Craig's multchip setup, doing your own LCD, and are going to come up with your OWN 3 bar programs, by yourself I'm sure, even though the work is right there in front of you I suppose. Todd did the multichip thing several years ago, before Craig came along. So what is stopping you from going "AHA! I've figured it out. I even sent Todd my PIC code to show him that all of this is coming from my own time and work.īut the fact remains, that while incredibly difficult.nothing is impossible Brian.ĭan, you already have my 3 bar bins. Once I get my 3-bar figured out, I'll even send it to you. So in all reality, Todd wouldn't be worried, and you wouldn't be worried if the earlier questions would have simply been answered.Īs for the future, who knows? But you have my word that nothing I am coming out with is a copy of your code or of Todd's PIC code. While not complete answers, they did send me on my way. So because of that unwilling attitude, I went elsewhere. I have asked questions in the past, and I got no answers. Because what I'm doing is NOT copying your code or anythig of the sort. If anything is eventually sold, it will be of my own work.Īnd you're doing the same thing Todd did. I have not, nor do I plan to use copies of anyone elses code in my EEPROMs or PICs. And if I come up with it? Who knows.īut my intentions are exactly that. I'm continuing to work with people off DIY_EFI since everyone hordes such information here. I'm sure the 6 pages worth that I've written will answer anything you need to know.Ĭlick to expand.Once I finish figuring out the 3-bar setup, possibly.

I'm sure Todd has sent you my emails, so feel free to read them Brian if you have any other questions. I've had a lot of positive feedback so far, and the only thing I've heard so far is that someone had tried something similar in the past and it hadn't come through. Until I'm presented with a C&D order or with evidence of a patent on an LCD design, I'm planning to continue with my development. I got the idea from a "thermometer" program on under projects. And I have never seen, nor was I around if and when he ever came out with them. Todd has conveyed to me that he "owns" the idea of an LCD screen with a multichip. Never has been, and will not be in the future. All of this work is done with Craig Moates' adapters and working with PIC codes off My intention is not to steal or pirate anyone elses code. There is no circuitry, code, or anything else borrowed from yours or Todd's design. Click to expand.I've been through this with Todd already.
